“It’s a very simple method I use: every drawing that I do somewhere in the world, I do it here too, for the citizens of Sibiu who may never travel to New York or other cities in the world to see them. Then I adjust them to the reality of this town. It’s like a school of texts in images. And it’s not like I’m teaching anybody. I’m teaching myself. Do you see people there? They are waiting for the bus. Some of these guys don’t know, after 11 years, there’s an artwork behind them. And that is what makes it so beautiful. Because that’s life, it comes and goes. It doesn’t matter what I’ve won. I’m just a piece of the game. Since I’ve started this wall here, in 2010, my knowledge has changed. I have become a different artist. I like to believe I’ve become a smarter one. Maybe a more complex one”.
